Anti-Bullying Week 2017
Anti bullying Week 2017 was held between the 13th and17th November and wasorganised by Anti-Bullying Alliance. The theme this year was to promote difference and equality in schools with the tag-line 'All Different, All Equal'.
As a school we focus hard on anti-bullying and how to prevent it. Students received assemblies thorughout anti-bullying week which focused on types of bullying, highlighting the issues children face today with cyber bullying. Stuents were given advice and guidance on how to report bullying in school and teachers discussed setting up an anti-bullying focus group with students.
Anti-Bullying Poster Competition 2017
Anie Thomas in Year 9 won third place in the local authorities design an anti-bullying poster competition. Anie's design was selected as one of the winning entries from submissions by 9 other schools.
Congratulations Anie on your winning design. Anie's poster will be displayed in school.
