The Bullying Intervention Group runs the national award scheme (now endorsed by Kidscape) to recognise excellence in bullying intervention.

Silver Award This is the country’s premium quality mark for guiding and accrediting the provision of outstanding Continuous Professional Learning and Development for all staff working in educational settings.

 

 

This award offers a structured framework to evaluate and enrich your pastoral curriculum. It supports schools in developing pupil’s personal attributes and attitudes, such as self-confidence, resilience and self-discipline and helps prepare pupils for life in modern Britain.

 

 

The healthy schools rating scheme is a self-assessment tool designed to help schools improve the health and wellbeing of their pupils.

 

The Autism Accreditation Programme is the UK’s only autism-specific quality assurance programme of support and development for all those providing services to autistic people. Achieving accreditation proves that an organisation is committed to understanding autism and setting the standard for autism practice. It is a way for organisations to show they offer excellent support to autistic children and adults.

 

 

Run jointly by Carers Trust and The Children’s Society, the Young Carers in Schools (YCiS) programme works with schools across England to share good practice, provide relevant tools and training, and celebrate the great outcomes many schools achieve for young carers.

 

 

The Quality in Careers Standard is the national quality award for careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) in secondary schools, colleges and work-based learning.

 

Schools – achieve recognition for excellence in SMSC!  Young Citizens has worked with experts in the field to create a self-review tool and verification service to help schools implement their vision and improve their delivery of pupils’ SMSC Development.

This award focuses on changing the long-term culture of the whole school. Using an evidence-based framework to drive change, it helps schools deliver staff and pupil wellbeing, review staff training, and revise policies. This award ensures that mental health and wellbeing sit at the heart of school life.
The Rainbow Flag Award is a national quality assurance framework for all schools and youth-centred organisations. The award focuses on positive LGBT+, (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, plus other related identities), inclusion and visibility.
