industry and are very creative for a L2 apprentice in hairdressing,
with amazing opportunities to progress once qualified.

The National Careers Service website provides careers advice and
information on a wide range of jobs, training courses etc.
There is a link to a section that enables you to search over 800
job profiles. The Job Profile page gives an overview of what
the job role consists of and will help to determine if it's the
right job for the pupil.

Check that enables pupils to find out what jobs suit them best by
doing a short assessment. Log in will be required if you wish

Manchester Engineering Awareness Week 2018 (Monday 9th -
Friday 13th July)now live!
I am pleased to inform you that the application process for Arup
Engineering Awareness Week Manchester is now live.
This week of work experience is for any students in Years 10
and 11 interested in Engineering. 2018 is the ninth year this
opportunity has been running at the Leeds office and is in its
second year in Manchester. The experience receives fantastic
feedback from participants from previous years with a small number
of students progressing to apprenticeships with the business after
education. Designed to give students an insight into the sector,
throughout the week students will work with colleagues from various
departments at Arup's Manchester office, and will also work in
teams to complete an engineering project which they will present on
